Product terms
One wedding, one payment.
Effective August 24, 2026. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern Arquebus LLC doing business as Seat Everyone (the “Site”). The short version of what you are buying is first. The legal relationship follows. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
What the price buys
$49 at the launch price, normally $59, unlocks one wedding: your named seating chart and floorplan, plus unlimited reseating for that wedding. It is a single payment. Nothing renews, and there is no subscription to remember to cancel.
What stays free
Building your guest list and human facts is free — adding people, assigning sides, forming groups, saying who belongs together and who needs distance, and seeing the room proof. The named seating chart and floorplan, ready to print or send to the venue, unlock after the one-time payment.
If your room is short of chairs, the chart seats everyone it can and names the guests who still need one. It never quietly drops a name to make the picture look finished.
How the payment works
Checkout opens on Stripe’s own hosted page. Your unlock is granted once Stripe confirms the payment, and it belongs to the account you were signed in with — so it is waiting for you on any device you sign in from.
Refunds
A full refund within 7 days of paying, for any reason, including “it did not make seating one less thing.” Email us at the address below and say so — that is the entire process, and a founder reads it. We refund the whole amount through Stripe, back to the card you paid with, and the unlock ends when the refund lands. Your guest list and your chart stay where they are; the free phase is still yours.
Your plan stays yours
A saved wedding opens under your own sign-in. A working copy can sit in the browser you are typing in. Any share link you make can be turned off, and the whole plan is yours to delete. The privacy page says exactly how each of those works.
Deleting is a one-way door: the plan goes and the unlock goes with it. A wedding you start afterwards is a new one to unlock.
Accounts
Some features need an account, handled by Clerk. Keep the email and any credentials accurate. You are responsible for activity under that account. Tell us if you think someone else used it. You can delete a saved wedding from the account page; that is not the same as deleting the Clerk account itself.
License and what you may not do
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Site for your own wedding, not to resell seating as a service. You may not license, sell, or commercially exploit the Site; scrape or reverse-engineer it to build a competing product; or strip notices from copies we allow you to make. We may change, suspend, or stop the Site. The Site and its marks stay ours. If you send feedback, you let us use it without paying you or crediting you. Do not send feedback you need to keep secret.
Privacy and cookies
Use of the Site is also governed by our privacy page and cookie notice, which are part of these Terms. If these Terms and the privacy page disagree about personal information, the privacy page controls.
Your guest list
You are responsible for the names and facts you type. Only include other people if you have a right to. We host that material so we can seat the room; we do not adopt it as our speech. We may remove or suspend access if we believe it violates these Terms or the law.
Third parties
Sign-in, payment, hosting, backup, and optional purchase email run on Clerk, Stripe, Fly.io, GitHub, and Postmark. Their terms and privacy practices apply to what they do. We do not control them. The Site has no ads.
Support
A founder answers gaurav@arquebus.dev. That is how refunds and questions work. It is not a contracted service level, and it is not a promise that the Site will always be up.
Disclaimers
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. The chart is a seating aid. It does not replace your judgment about who should sit where, and it does not promise a printable room when the room is short of chairs.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, substitute products, or any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from these Terms or your use of the Site; and our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of $50 USD and the amount you paid us for the wedding pass that the claim is about. Multiple claims do not raise the cap. Some places do not allow these limits; they apply to the fullest extent the law allows.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Arquebus LLC doing business as Seat Everyone and the people who make it from claims and reasonable legal costs that arise from your use of the Site, your guest list, or your violation of these Terms or the law, to the extent the law allows.
Suspension and ending
These Terms last while you use the Site. We may suspend or end access if we believe you have broken them. The sections on license restrictions, privacy, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and disputes survive.
California and other state notices
If you are a California resident, you may report complaints to the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs, at 1625 N. Market Blvd., Suite N-112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210. The provider of the Site is Arquebus LLC doing business as Seat Everyone. To file a complaint or receive further information, email gaurav@arquebus.dev. A mailing address and telephone number are not published on this page; email is the contact we actually operate.
Privacy rights for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Nevada, and other states that have them are described on the privacy page.
General
We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change. Material changes will be posted on the Site. Continued use after that is acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Claims may be brought only in the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, except that either of us may seek injunctive relief anywhere to protect intellectual property. You agree not to export the Site in violation of U.S. law. Electronic notices to the email on your account, or posted on the Site, count as written notice.
We try to make the Site usable, including for people who use assistive technology, and we welcome accessibility mail at gaurav@arquebus.dev. That is a commitment to listen, not a warranty of WCAG conformance.
These Terms, the privacy page, and the cookie notice are the entire agreement about the Site. If a piece cannot be enforced, the rest stays. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them. Copyright © 2026 Arquebus LLC doing business as Seat Everyone.
Disputes
Write first to gaurav@arquebus.dev. We will try, in good faith, to work it out. If we cannot, either of us may bring a claim in the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California. Small-claims court in your county remains available for claims that fit there, and either of us may seek injunctive relief anywhere to protect intellectual property.
Who you are dealing with
Arquebus LLC doing business as Seat Everyone is Gaurav and Keilani’s company. We built the product so we would never reseat our own wedding by hand again, and the support address reaches us directly — a founder answers, not a queue.
